Nagakov, the exclusive casino operator in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh, said in a filing from Hong Kong on Thursday that its annual general meeting (AGM) had approved the final dividend for 2020.

Nagakov said in an April 19 filing that it had proposed a final dividend of $0.188 per share, which would represent a “100% dividend based on net income generated in the second half of 2020.”

Nagakov, operator of the Nagarwold complex (pictured), said in early March that its full-year profit in 2020 was just over US$102.3 million. It said a “satisfactory” recovery in the second half of the year amid pandemic-related turmoil supported that result.

These profits were down 80.4% compared to $521.3 million in 2019. 파워볼사이트

Since April 1 last year, all casinos in Cambodia have been ordered to close temporarily as part of measures to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nagaworld reopened in July 2020.

By early March this year, Nagaworld’s operations were shut down again after 11 employees tested positive for COVID-19.

There has been no update from the company so far regarding the resumption of business.
